Single Slot USB Cradle
This section describes how to use a Single Slot USB cradle with the mobile computer. For USB communication setup procedures refer
to the MC50 Integrator Guide.
The Single Slot USB Cradle:
• Provides 5.4 VDC power for operating the mobile computer.
• Synchronizes information between the mobile computer and a host computer. (With customized or third party software, it
can also synchronize the mobile computer with corporate databases.) Refer to the MC50 Integrator Guide for information on
setting up a partnership between the mobile computer and a host computer.
• Charges the mobile computer’s battery.
• Charges a spare battery.
Charging the Mobile Computer Battery
Connect the cradle to power, or to the host computer using the USB connection. Insert the mobile computer into the mobile computer
slot to begin charging.
