21 Addressbook
Search entry
With the Addressbook open, simply
type the first letter of the name you
require.
The first entry that begins with this
letter is displayed. Continue by
typing the second letter and so on
until the name you want is
displayed.
A magnifying glass icon appears in
the upper right-hand corner of the
display with the search letters.
C Deletes the letter just en-
tered.
Call entry

Open Addressbook
(in standby mode).
B
Select required entry.
A
Press.
If multiple phone numbers are
stored in this entry, the list of phone
numbers is displayed.
B
Select the required phone
number.
A
Press.
Addressbook Menu Options
With the Addressbook open, the
following functions are available
depending on the current situation:
Scroll to
Options Open menu.
View Read entry.
Group sorting The entries of the VIP
group (see p. 19) are
displayed at the top.
Alphabetic sorting can
be reactivated with
A-Z
sorting .
Edit Display the entry for
changes.
New entry See "New entry", p. 19.
Delete Delete the entry from
the Addressbook.
Delete all Delete all entries after
confirmation.
Copy to SIM Copy name and the
first phone number to
the SIM card.
SIM location Access the restricted
functions of the SIM
card (p. 22).
Send via ... IrDA: Transmit in vCard
format to a suitable de-
vice (see "IrDA", p. 70).
SMS: Transmit as SMS
message.
Print via IrDA Transmit entry to a
suitable printer via
IrDA.
Capacity Displays the capacity
used and available.
