You can reduce the main menu to
just the important functions to make
it easier to use the phone.
Now you can call them up directly
without going via other menus:

Voice message
MP3 Player
Dictating mach.
Calendar
Divert all Unanswered
Incoming Messages
Write new Message
All service tones
Volume all calls
Melody all calls
Profiles

Use the Menu mode function to acti-
vate the full main menu.

Language
English is always available as the ba-
sic language. The language of your
Service Provider is loaded automati-
cally when the SIM card is inserted.
A third language may be loaded in
addition.
Keys
Any key answer
You can answer incoming calls using
any key (except
S
).
Auto key lock
The keypad is automatically locked if
one minute elapses since any key
was last pressed. This preventsthe
phone from being used accidentally.
However, you can still be called and
you can still make an emergency
call.
The keypad can also be directly
locked and unlocked:

Hold down.
OK Confirm.
Key tones
You can set the type of key tone:
Key Click or Key Tones or
Key silent
To create additional capacity on the Multi-
MediaCard™, languages not required can
be deleted. The contents of the
MultiMediaCard™ are available for down-
loading from the Internet at www.my-sie-
mens.com/sl45i . The files can be restored
from there (see "Card-Explorer", p. 73).
If a language you do not understand has
been set,the phone can be reset to the
language of the Service Provider or to
English by entering
* # 0 0 0 0 #
