Illumination
The display illumination can be
switched on and off (this affects
standby time)
The brightness can be adjusted.
Big letters
You can change the font size on the
display.
Own Greeting
You can create a greeting that is
displayed when you switch the
phone on.
Edit Toggles between On
and Off.

Delete old message and
compose new message.
OK Confirm changes.
Screen style
You can select an animation to re-
place the current graphic that is dis-
played when you switch your phone
on. You can copy additional graphics
into the
Animation folder on the
MultiMediaCard™ using the Data
Exchange Software (p. 77).
The animation that is displayed
when the phone is switched off can-
not be changed.
Please refer to "Card-Explorer", p. 74
for instructions on copying (static)
bitmaps to the display.
Contrast
Sets the display contrast.
Status
Master reset
The phone is reset to the default
values (does not apply to the SIM
card or network settings).
Phone identity
The device number (IMEI)is
displayed. This information may be
useful for customer service.
Fast search
Network reconnection is speeded
up when this function is active
(standby time is reduced).
Erase records
