Storing an external number for room monitoring

Open the menu.

&KDQJH Open the entry field for the telephone number.
If the entry field is preset with an external telephone
number you must overwrite this with

Delete a preset internal telephone number with
<(6 (security prompt).
Press &KDQJH and enter the required telephone
number.

Enter the external telephone number.

Open the directory.

Save Entry Save the setting.
Move to the next line.

Set noise level sensitivity to “high” or “low” .

Use the display key to deactivate the room moni-
toring feature.
Deactivating the room monitor remotely
You can deactivate the room monitor remotely
(e.g. from a mobile phone).
Accept the call from the room monitor.
Enter:

The room monitor is now deactivated. A call is no
longer
made from the handset.
