security
To protect your telephone settings from unintentional
access you should protect your Gigaset with a PIN (sys-
tem PIN).
Changing the system PIN
To protect the system settings from unauthorised ac-
cess you should change the system PIN (factory set-
ting: 0000) to a PIN that only you know.

Open the menu.

Base Settings
Select the menu item and confirm.

System-PIN
Select the menu item and confirm.
System PIN
Enter the currently valid system PIN and confirm (fac-
tory setting: 0000).
Q Enter the new system PIN (4 digits).
Q Scroll forward one line and repeat the new system PIN.
Save the new system PIN.
