Automatic System Forwarding

Automatic System Forwarding allows your system administrator to route calls based
on the type of call and the status of your telephone. Although you cannot program the
path of a system forward, you can enable or disable this feature on your endpoint.
To enable or disable System Forwarding:

1.

While in idle mode, press

to bring up the two-line display.

2.

Dial

.

Redirect Calls

The Redirect Call feature allows you to forward any call that is ringing on your end-
point without having to answer the call.

NOTE:

You cannot redirect calls to an extension that is in DND or to a restricted out-

side number.

To redirect a call to an extension number:

1.

Press .

2.

Press the number that corresponds to the

SEND TO DEST

option.

3.

Dial the extension number or press

for the

IC DIRECTORY

option. (See

page 79

for more information on directories.)

To redirect a call to an outside telephone number:

1.

Press .

2.

Press the number that corresponds to the

SEND TO DEST

option.

3.

Press

and then press the number that corresponds to the

OUTSIDE CALL

option.

4.

Dial the outside telephone number, or use a speed-dial number (see

page 67

).

5.

Press .
