SMS (text messages)

Copy the email addresses from
your e-mail directory or enter
it manually. Then enter a
space or colon (depending on
the service provider).
~ Enter the SMS text.

number of the e-mail service is
not stored (p. 26), enter it.

Receiving an SMS
All text messages received are stored in
the incoming message list. As a text
message remains in the list after you have
read it, you should regularly delete text
messages from the list. The display tells
you if the message memory is full. Press
OK and delete the text messages you no
longer need.
Linked text messages are displayed as one
SMS. If it is too long or has not been
transferred completely, it will be split into
individual messages and stored in the
incoming message list.
Incoming message list
The incoming message list shows you:
u All received messages, starting with
the newest one.
u Messages that could not be sent
despite several attempts.
New messages are indicated on all
handsets by the message You have new
messagesÛ , by the f key flashing and
a confirmation tone.
Opening the incoming message list with
the f key
f Press.
<More Messages>
Select if necessary and
press OK .
If necessary, select a mailbox and enter
the mailbox PIN.

Reading and deleting individual text
messages
Open incoming message list, then:

Select SMS.
Read Press the display key. Scroll to
the next line with s.
or:
Delete Press the display key. The text
message is deleted.
a Long press (idle status).
A new message which you have read
acquires the status Old.
