Care

Wipe the base and handset with a damp

cloth (use no solvent) or an antistatic

cloth. Never use a dry cloth. This can

cause static.

Contact with liquid

If the handset should come into contact

with liquid, switch it off. On no account

switch the device on. Remove the

battery immediately.
Allow the liquid to drain out of the device.

Then follow the instructions below:
1. Hold the device horizontally with the

open battery case facing down.

2. Hold the device vertically. Tilt the

device backwards and forwards

slightly, giving it a gentle shake each

time.

3. Pat all parts dry and keep the device in

a warm, dry place for at least 72 hours

with the battery compartment open

and with the keypad facing downwards

(do not place in a microwave, oven

etc.).

In many cases, you will then be able to use

it again.

The display is blank
1. The handset is not switched on.

1. Ringer is switched off.

2. Call Diversion is set to All Calls.

You cannot hear a ringer tone/ dial tone.
The base station telephone cable has been

replaced.

When purchasing a new cord ensure that it

has the correct pin connections (p. 6).
Your caller on the telephone cannot hear

you.
You have pressed the

key. This mutes the

handset.

Switch on the microphone again (p. 11).

The caller’s telephone number is not

displayed although CLIP is set.
Calling line identification is not enabled.

The caller should ask his network provider

to enable the identification of his number (CLI).
