[RETURN] key.

USING THE MEMORY PRINTER AUTO-ANSWER FEATURE
The Memory Printer has a built-in answering machine to answer your calls when you are away. To
use Auto-Answer, the Printer must be On and you must have saved an outgoing message in memory
bank 3. (Refer to instructions on page 13.)

Example: “HELLO, THIS IS ADRIENNE’S ANSWERING MACHINE. PLEASE TYPE YOUR
NAME AND PHONE NBR AND I WILL RETURN UR CALL GA”

To set your Memory Printer to Auto Answer:

1. Connect your Memory Printer to the AC charge/adapter.

• Make sure you have plenty of paper.
• Make sure you have connected your Memory Printer to the telephone line.

2. Turn the Power Switch On.

• “Power-On” message such as “KROWN MP2000D” is displayed. Selects Auto Answer mode.

Select the number of times you want the phone to ring before it is automatically answered by your TDD.

This allows your TDD to answer with both voice and a TDD message.
The voice message is the one selected with [CTRL]+[K] (see page 9).
Your TDD will not store voice message only TDD messages.

Clears overflow buffer where
incoming messages are stored.

Your TDD Auto Answer is now

ready to answer calls.

If you TDD has the optional ASCII feature (MP2000D/A), your TDD will give you the option to
answer calls in ASCII.

PRESS:

Your TDD now automatically

answers ASCII and Baudot calls.

Your TDD will only

automatically answer
Baudot calls.
