Replacing the headlight lamps

Remove the 5 screws on the left and right and take off both side covers

[1]. Use a screw-

driver to detach the retaining tabs

[2], tilt the windshield and headlight forward and pull

the connector off the connector support. Place the headlight on a soft pad to keep it from

being damaged.

Never touch the glass of the bulb with your fingers. The glass of the bulb must remain absolutely

free from grease. Heat will otherwise cause the grease to evaporate and settle down on the

reflector.

HIGH BEAM BULB

[A] :

Remove the rubber cap

[3] and pull off the connector [4]. Detach the retaining clip and

remove the bulb.

Insert a new bulb (see Technical specifications – Chassis / Lighting), fit the retaining clip,

connect the connector and mount the rubber cap.

LOW BEAM BULB

[B] :

Remove the rubber cap

[5] and pull off the connector [6]. Detach the retaining clip and

remove the bulb.

When inserting the new bulb (see Technical specifications – Chassis / Lighting), make sure

tab

[D] is firmly seated in the socket recess.

Fit the retaining clip, connect the connector to the bulb and mount the rubber cap.
