Setting Up the PC2000

After mounting your terminals and connecting them to your computer, you
need to set them to work with your PayClock software. You only need to set
up a terminal once after installing it, or when you need to change its
properties.

Single Terminal Installations

If you are using only one terminal and want to keep the default settings, then
skip these setup steps and simply set the terminal’s time and date through the
software.

The default PC2000 settings are

• English Language

• Pin-Entry off

• RS-232 at 1200 baud

• Terminal ID 65
To change any of these settings, follow the steps below.

Press 1 key for RS485, or
Press 2 key for Modem
