Adjusting initial settings

Initial settings lets you perform initial set up of
different settings for this unit.

FUNCTION

Shows the function status.

1 Press

SOURCE

and hold until the unit turns

off.
• Pressing

SOURCE

on the head unit also per-

forms the same operation.

2 Press

F

and hold until time appears in the

display.
• Pressing and holding

FUNCTION

on the head

unit also performs the same operation.

3 Press

F

to select one of the initial settings.

Press

F

repeatedly to switch between the follow-

ing settings:

CLOCK

FM

AM

WARN

AUX

DIM

BRIGHT

SW

(D.ATT)

TEL

DVD

Use the following instructions to operate each
particular setting.
• To cancel initial settings, press

BAND/ESC

.

• You can also cancel initial settings by holding
down

F

until the unit turns off.

• Pressing

FUNCTION

on the head unit also

performs the same operation.

D.ATT

can only be operated when you have

connected the Multi-channel processor (DEQ-
P7050) to this unit. For details, refer to the
Muliti-channel processor (DEQ-P7050) owner’s
manual.

Setting the time

This is used to set the time on the unit’s clock
display.

1 Press

F

to select the

CLOCK

.

Press

F

until the time appears in the display.

• Pressing

FUNCTION

on the head unit also

performs the same operation.

2 Select the portion of the time display you
wish to set with

1 or ¡.

Pressing

1 or ¡ will select a portion of the

clock display:

HOUR

MINUTE

As you select portions of the clock display the
portion selected will blink.

• Pressing

2 or 3 on the head unit also per-

forms the same operation.

3 Select the correct time with

E or e.

Pressing

E will increase the selected hour or

minute. Pressing

e will decrease the selected

hour or minute.
• Pressing

5 or ∞ on the head unit also per-

forms the same operation.

Setting the FM tuning step

The FM tuning step employed by seek tuning
can be switched between 100 kHz, the preset
step, and 50 kHz.
