Chapter 9: Troubleshooting the netpad
Temp Folder
If you have an external modem and have unplugged it to use the Psion Teklogix
serial cable on the same port, you will not get a connection. Windows 95/98/NT 4.0
reserves this port for use with the modem and so you will have to use another port.
9.2.6 Temp Folder
The ActiveSync connection can be affected if you have not specified, or have incor-
rectly specified, your Temp folder. To specify this:
1. Click Start and
select Run. Type
sysedit in the dia-
logue and click OK.
