Use of a different type of adaptor risks

fire and/or electrical shock. For safety sake,

make sure to unplug the AC adaptor from the

wall outlet whenever leaving the piano

unattended for a long time or during an electrical

storm.

The headphone jack

There are two headphones jacks – jack “1” lets

you listen through BOTH the headphones and

internal speakers, jack “2” lets you listen

through the HEADPHONES ONLY (disconnects

the internal speakers).

Caution!

Never use the headphones with high volume,

as it may cause damage to your ears. In addition,

to prevent damage to your speakers,

ensure that the volume is set to the minimum

level before connecting any other device.

The AUX.OUT jack

When you want to listen to your piano with an

External amplifier or speaker, connect to the

AUX OUT L/MONO and R jacks on the left

panel. The volume is adjusted with the

VOLUME button. (For monaural playback, use

the L/MONO jack. For stereo playback, connect

both L/MONO and R jacks.)

The AUX.IN jack

The audio output from a CD player or other

audio equipment can be connected to the AUX

IN jack on the left panel so it can be mixed with

the sound of your piano. This function is

convenient when you want to play along with a

favorite song. The volume of the external signal

is adjusted with the MASTER VOLUME button.

The sustain jack

An optional footswitch can be plugged into the

SUSTAIN jack for sustain control. The

footswitch functions like the sustain pedal on a

piano.
