Setup Your Computer
Installing USB Driver
Caution:
B Use the computer on AC power (not battery) to avoid power-down during
setup.

Insert the floppy disk into floppy disk drive.
(Refer to “How to Make the CB30A Driver Installation Floppy Disk” on p.45.)

Double-click [My Computer] icon on the screen, then double-click
[A:] (if the floppy disk drive is A).

Double-click [Dsetup.exe].
Setup window appears.
(Go on to 4 on next page.)
The USB Driver supplied with this drive is for Windows 98SE and Windows Me.
(USB Driver installation is not required for Windows OSs other than Windows
98SE / Windows Me.)

Insert the supplied CD-ROM into
the drive.
The program starts automatically, then
Setup Menu appears.

Notes:
B If the program does not start automatically, open My Computer and
double-click CD-ROM icon, then double-click [Asmenu.exe ] in the
CD-ROM to start Setup Menu.
B For Windows 98SE, use a working drive other than this drive for installation.
Note:
B For Windows Me, this drive can be operated with the OS standard USB
driver, but it is possible that malfunctions will occur.
We recommend you install the USB Driver supplied with this drive.
