Controlling Video Inputs &
Monitors

Operations on the front panel can control video inputs on
the spot monitor or multiscreen monitor.

On the Spot Monitor

Selecting the Spot Monitor

1. Press the [SPOT/MULTI] button to turn the LED in the

button on. The spot monitor is ready to be operated.

2. Follow the descriptions below for each monitoring mode

on the spot monitor.

Viewing a Single Live

A selected live image is displayed on the spot monitor until
a new input selection is made.

1. Press any numeric button from 1 - 8.

The selected image appears on the monitor.

2. Press another numeric button to select a new input.

Viewing a Single Live Sequence

The spot monitor can display a single live sequence.
A series of input images is displayed in succession on the
spot monitor. One sequence can be programmed in the
SPOT SEQ SETUP menu setup with an input assignment
and display duration for each step.

1. Select the spot monitor.

2. Press the [SEQUENCE] button to run the sequence.

The LED in the [SEQUENCE] button lights up.

While running, the LED of the input image presently dis-
played on the monitor will illuminate in the correspond-
ing numeric button.

3. During the sequence, press the [SEQUENCE] button to

pause. The LED in the [SEQUENCE] button blinks.

4. Press the [SEQUENCE] button to restart the sequence.

The LED turns to a steady light.

5. Press any of the numeric buttons to quit the sequence

and return to spot monitoring.

Notes:

• The Auto Skip function can be programmed in the

menu setup to be applied to the sequence to skip any
steps where no video signal is present.

• You can individually run a sequence on the spot moni-

tor and on the multiscreen monitor. Select a monitor
with the [SPOT/MULTI] button, then press the SEQ but-
ton to start or pause a sequence on the respective
monitor.
