01 Before You Start

Connecting up to your TV

Use the supplied AV cable to connect this DVD player to your TV. This cable feeds both audio and video
to your TV. Before connecting, make sure that both this player and your TV are switched off and
disconnected from the wall outlet.

• Read the instructions that came with

your TV if you’re unsure which inputs
to use.

• Do not connect this player to your TV

through a VCR. Some discs are copy-
protected and will not play properly
when played via a VCR or when
recorded on a VCR.

• See pages 53 to 55 for how to connect

this player up to an AV amplifier and
other components.
