/cfg/doamin #/aaa/auth <auth ID>
followed by:
name <name>
Names or renames the method. After you have
defined a name for the method, you can use
either the method name or the
auth ID
to
access the Authentication menu.
•
name
is a string that must be unique in the
domain. The maximum allowable length
of the string is 255 characters, but Nortel
recommends a maximum of 32 characters.
In future releases of the Nortel SNAS software,
you will be able to reference this string in a
client filter, so that authentication to the server
in question becomes a condition for access
rights for a group.
display
Specifies a name for the method, to display
in the Login Service list box on the portal
login page, together with the names of other
authentication services available.
radius|ldap|local
Accesses a method-specific menu, in order to
configure settings for the method. The option
displayed depends on the method type.

—accesses the RADIUS menu

local
—accesses the Local database
