4 - SETTING UP YOUR CAMERA

These instructions walk you through setting the image quality and fisheye
lens mode on your Nikon Coolpix 885 digital camera.

Select Fisheye Lens Mode

1.

Turn the mode dial to CSM mode.

2.

Press the MENU button below the back LCD screen once to show the
Shooting menu.

3.

Use the up and down arrow buttons to select LENS.

4.

Press the right arrow button to move to the LENS menu.

5.

Select the NORMAL option from the LENS menu.

6.

Press the right arrow button to activate the option.

Set the Image Quality and Size

Setting the image quality for IPIX photography is a crucial step. If your
images are taken at a lower resolution mode, IPIX images created using
these hemispheres may appear pixilated.

1.

Make sure the camera is in CSM mode.

2.

Press the Menu button twice to display the second page of the menu.

3.

Press the right arrow button to view the Image Quality and Size
(QUAL) menu.

4.

Press the right arrow button again to view the Image Quality menu.

5.

Select Fine using the arrow keys and press the right arrow button to
choose the option.

6.

Press the right arrow button to display the Image Quality and Size
menu again.

7.

Press the down arrow button once to highlight Image Size, and press
the right arrow button to display the options.

8.

Press the right arrow button to select the Full option.
