4 - SETTING UP YOUR CAMERA
Nikon Coolpix 5000

Turn off Best Shot Selector

The Best Shot Selector is used to help minimize blurred images resulting
from camera movement. This option should be turned off for iPIX photog-
raphy.

1.

Press the Menu button once to display the menu.

2.

Press the down arrow button four times to highlight the Best Shot
Selector (BSS) option.

3.

Press the right arrow button to select it.

4.

Press the right arrow button again to turn BSS off.

Set the Image Adjustment

The Image Adjustment setting should be set to Normal mode for optimal
iPIX Photography with the Nikon Coolpix 5000 digital camera.

1.

Press the Menu button.

2.

Press the down arrow key five times to select the Image Adjustment
menu, and press the right arrow button to display the menu.

3.

Scroll down and highlight the Normal option.

4.

Press the right arrow button to set the option.
