Recording and Saving

Touch < SMF >.

The [REC] button will light, and the following screen appears.

* If you decide not to record, touch < Cancel >.

Touch < Add On >.

The [PLAY/STOP] button will blink, and the RK-300 will enter recording-standby mode.

Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.

You’ll hear a two-measure count, and then recording will start.

Recording will also start if you play the keyboard without pressing the [PLAY/STOP] button. In this

case, you won’t hear a count.

When recording starts, the [PLAY/STOP] button and [REC] button will light.

Stop recording

8.

Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.

Recording will stop.

Play back the recorded performance

9.

Press the [

] button, and then press the [PLAY/STOP] button.

The recorded performance will play back.

10.

To stop playback, press the [PLAY/STOP] button once again.

Playback will stop automatically when you reach the end of the song.

• The recorded performance will disappear when you turn off the power. If you want to keep the

recording, you must save it to “Favorites” (p. 144).
