Överst till vänster i denna grupp finns tolv nummeriska
knappar som används till att utföra direktval t.ex. låtval på
en CD-spelare, välja kanal på TVn, kabeldekoder eller
sattellit-mottagare m.m.
Längst ner till höger finns nio knappar som ersätter
menyfunktioner på t.ex. en TV eller on-screen funktioner
på en audio/video komponent. De fem runda knapparna
används för extra funktioner såsom senast vald kanal eller
översiktguide m.m.
Längst ner till vänster finns fem rektangulära knappar som
ersätter grundläggande funktioner, (Play, Pause och
snabbspola m.m.), för t.ex. CD-spelare, DVD-spelare eller
en video.
Kommando-knappar (övriga)
Under glidlocket finns en grupp av ovala knappar som
ersätter olika funktioner beroende på vilken Enhets/Ingångs
knapp som är aktiverad. Se illustrationen på knapp-
benämningar, ”Label Sets”.
Multifunktions-knappar
Förutom normala funktioner har de fem knapparna, SCAN,
PTY, P-TUN, TP och TA en specialfunktion. De kan ”läras
upp” till att ha tre kommandon på varje knapp. Vid första
tryckningen på knappen skickas det första kommandot,
det andra kommandot skickas vid andra tryckningen och
det tredje kommandot skickas vid tredje tryckningen.
Special-knappar
De tre rektangulära knapparna under glidlocket används
till att programmera RR-1050 och för specialfunktioner som
t.ex. knappljud.
Konfigurerings-knappar
Fyra nedsänkta knappar under glidlocket används till att
konfigurera fjärrkontrollen. De är nedsänkta för att
förhindra att de trycks in av misstag. Använd spetsen på
en kulpenna för att trycka ned dem.
To program a multistep button using the SCAN button as
an example:
1. Follow the four steps under “To program a COM-
MAND button” in the previous section to program the
first command for the SCAN button.
2. Press the SCAN button a second time. “S1-2” shows
in the display. Press and hold the next button on the
original remote until the “OK!” confirmation appears.
3. To learn a third command, press the SCAN button a
third time. The display shows “S1-3” indicating that it
is ready to learn the third command. Press and hold
the next command button on the original remote until
the “OK!” confirmation appears.
NOTE: To change the programming of any command for
a multistep button, it is necessary to start over beginning
with the first command.
Macro Programming
Twenty of the buttons on the RR-1050 (the nine device but-
tons, the EXT button and the number buttons 0 - 9) can
store multiple command macro sequences – for example,
a sequence that turns on the TV set, selects channel 5, turns
on the surround processor, and selects the TV input. A macro
sequence is sent by pressing the MACRO button followed
by the button where the macro is stored.
To program a macro sequence, first make sure that all of
the desired commands have already been learned by the
RR-1050 – the macro feature simply records a sequence
of individual RR-1050 button commands.
1. Press the LEARN button . The “LEARN” indicator
appears in the display.
2. Press the MACRO button . The LCD displays
“MACRO?” asking where to store the sequence.
3. Press one of the available macro buttons - the nine
DEVICE/INPUT buttons, the EXT button, or the 0-9
numeric buttons. An “M” followed by the name of the
button appears briefly in the display (e.g. “M.0”).
4. “Step 1” appears in the display indicating that the unit
is ready to learn the first step in the macro. Press the
desired individual commands until the entire sequence
has been performed. Each button press is confirmed in
the display followed by a prompt for the next step.
NOTE: When using the DEVICE/INPUT buttons to se-
lect the device you want to operate press the button for less
than one second. To select an input for the device press
and hold the button for more than one second.
