Troubleshooting

Should you experience problems with the operation of your new VoiceCom

1000™, please try the troubleshooting suggestions below:

Problem

Solution

The VoiceCom 1000™ blue doesn't
turn on with the ignition turned
on.

When using the VoiceCom 1000™
system for a phone call, the
person on the other end cannot
hear you.

When using the VoiceCom 1000™
system for a phone call, the audio
does not switch to the car's
speakers.

The person you are calling
complains about interference
noise.

During device pairing the phone
cannot find the " VoiceCom 1000™"
system.

Check the battery power fuse and
if necessary replace with 2 Amp
fuse.

Consult your professional installer.

Check the microphone cable for
proper connection. If the problem
persists, consult with your
professional installer.

Turn on y o u r car r a d i o . If t h e
problem persists, consult with
your professional installer.

When a window is open, close it.
Reduce ventilation.

Increase the distance between
your phone and parts of the
VoiceCom 1000™ or the radio.


Initiate the device p a i r i n g (see
section "Device Pairing").

Abort the pairing, set up a
different device class and try
again.

Unclear, scratchy sound

Reduce the distance between the

phone and the Remote Control.
Remove obstructions.
