No electricity in
wall outlet.
Blown fuse/
tripped breaker
Motor circuit
breaker has
tripped.
Brush or pad
holder not
properly in place.
Using brush on dry
surface without
dry shampoo or
wet shampoo.
Using black
carpet brush on
berber or low-
pile carpet.
Be sure cleaner is
firmly plugged
into wall outlet.
Check electrical
source–fuse or
circuit breaker.
Replace fuse/
Reset breaker
Turn switch off
and unplug
cleaner. Check
motor shaft for
binding.
ORB 600:
Allow 30 minutes
for motor to cool
and system to
reset.
ORB 550/700:
Are equipped
with a red reset
button on the top
of the motor
housing (back left
side of chrome
grill). Press the
reset button.
Place it properly.
(See operating
instructions.)
Apply necessary
shampoo dry or
wet.
Use white
terrycloth bonnet
instead.
WARNING: Unplug cord from
electrical outlet before servicing.
