SETTINGS

Use the Voicemail Key (envelope ICON) to navigate up and down the menu tree. Use the Redial
Key to cancel an entry. When finished with parameter changes, press the Voicemail Key to pro-
gram the changes to the phone. Alternatively, lifting the handset from the cradle and replacing it
will also program the changes to the phone. The LCD window will show the word ‘PROGRAM-
MING’, when successful. Changes to the SX4P settings are activated upon returning to the idle
screen.

Audio Settings (Ringer)

Incoming Call Alert Tone
1. Press the FLASH key.
2. Select Settings, then select Call Alert Tone.
3. Enter the desired alert tone (default = 1)

1 = Alert Tone 1
2 = Alert Tone 2
3 = Alert Tone 3

4. Press the FLASH key.

Incoming Call Alert Volume
1. Press the FLASH key.
2. Select Settings, then select Call Alert Volume.
3. Enter the desired volume level.

0 = Off
1 = Low
2 = High (default)

4. Press the FLASH key.

SMS and Voice Mail Alert Volume
1. Press the FLASH key.
2. Select Settings, then select Msg Alert Volume.
3. Enter the desired volume level.

0 = Off
1 = Low (default)
2 = High

4. Press the FLASH key.

Auto Send Delay

1. Press the FLASH key.
2. Select Settings, then select Auto Send Delay.
3. Enter a desired delay time from 2 to 20 seconds (default = 3).
4. Press the FLASH key.

LCD Contrast

1. Press the FLASH key, then select Settings.
2. Select LCD Contrast.
3. Enter a desired screen contrast level from 0 = darkest to 19 =
lightest (default = 5).
4. Press the FLASH key.

Zero-Delay Dial

When this function is turned on, the SX4P is will recognize
numbers that have been successfully called twice and the call time is longer than 15 seconds. It
will then automatically dial that number without waiting for the dial delay.
