Connect the Handset
Before the SX4P can be operated, the handset cable must be connected - see Figure 5.
1. Connect one end of the handset cable to the phone jack.
2. Connect the other end of the handset cable to the handset.
Wall-Mounting
Before you attempt to mount the SX4P on a wall, you will need to purchase two screws (the
diameter of the heads must be between 5 mm and 9 mm to fit the mounting holes on the SX4P).
1. Remove the mounting clip from the cradle and re-insert it so that the tab points out - see
Figure 6.
2. Mark two hole locations 83 mm (3 1/4
inches) apart vertically.
3. Drill holes at the marked locations with a
drill bit that is the appropriate size for the
mounting screws (screws not provided).
4. Secure the mounting screws (not sup-
plied) in the wall . Leave a 3 mm (1/8
inch) gap between the screw heads and
the wall.
5. Align the bottom part of the mounting
holes on the SX4P with the screw heads
in the wall, then slide the SX4P down so
that it is securely attached to the mounting
screws - see Figure 8.

Remove mounting clip
from cradle.
Insert mounting clip into
cradle with the tab up.
