RECORDING

When recording important selections, be sure to make a
preliminary test to ensure that the desired material is
being properly recorded.

The automatic recording level control circuit automatically
controls the level of the input signal used for recording.

Adjusting the VOLUME, BALANCE, TREBLE and BASS
controls and selecting any SOUND PROCESSOR
program have no effect on the recorded sound.

Recording from the CD player (CD
Synchronized Recording System)

Select the CD position and load the CD to be recorded.

Load a tape into the tape “b” cassette compartment.

Wind past the beginning part of the tape on which
recording can not be performed.

When recording with the Dolby NR system, set the
DOLBY NR switch to B or C; if not, set it to OFF.
*

For selection of the Dolby B or C position, refer to the
“Dolby B and C Type Noise Reduction” on page 24.

Set the REVERSE MODE switch to to record on only
one side, or to for continuous recording on both sides.

Press the REC button.
*

The indicator next to the REC button will light up and
the play indicator flash.

Press the play button of the CD.
*

Before CD playback begins, recording automatically
begins on side A of the tape.

To stop recording temporarily

Press the pause button of the CD.

Press the play button of the CD to resume recording.

To stop recording

Press the stop button of the tape deck.
(At this time, CD playback does not stop.)
