7. Safety

7.1

Country-specific safety information

Observe these installation instructions during installation.

We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliability
only if the original accessories and spare parts intended for the
appliance are used.

Instructions, standards and regulations

Risk of damage
Observe the type plate. The specified voltage must
match the mains voltage.

Danger to life through electrocution!
All electrical connection and installation work must
be carried out in accordance with VDE regulations
(DIN VDE 0100) [or local regulations], the rules
of your local power supply utility, and relevant
national and local regulations.

Never use a permanently installed connecting cable.

The appliance must be able to be separated
from the mains power supply by an isolator that
disconnects all poles with at least 3 mm contact
separation.

Fixing information
Only fit the appliance to a vertical wall that is
temperature-resistant to at least 85 °C.

Maintain minimum clearances to adjacent surfaces.

Never install the appliance directly below a
wall socket.

Important information
Only remove appliance and accessory packaging
at the installation location; look out for the
separate pack.

When unpacking, ensure that no accessory parts
are left in the packaging.

Important information
When installing the boiler in rooms with a bath and/
or shower, observe the safety zone according to
VDE 0100, part 701, in accordance with the details
on the appliance type plate.

Install the appliance in such a way that control
equipment cannot be touched by a person in the
bath or shower.

8. Installation

If you are replacing one of our CK appliances, the holes available
to secure the appliance can be used.

8.1 Appliance

To secure the appliance, proceed as follows:

Secure the supplied mounting bracket horizontally on the
installation wall with the tab cut-out towards the top. Use
suitable fixing materials (screws, rawl plugs) for this, subject
to the type of wall. The horizontal and vertical slots enable an
adjustment in case the fixing holes are not quite where they
should be.

Hook the appliance with the upper vertical recesses of the back
panel into the mounting bracket.
