Securing Your Ankles

• Stand with your back to the Table Bed - do not use the inversion table face-down.
• Step over the Main Shaft, placing your feet on the floor on either side. Press down and

push out on the ratchet to open the Ankle System. To balance yourself, rest only your

lower body against the Table Bed as you slide one ankle at a time between the ankle

clamps onto the Ankle Comfort Dial. Be sure to slide your ankle in from the side (Figure

4); DO NOT insert the foot through the ankle cups as you would slide your foot into a

shoe. Your feet should always be either on the floor or on the Ankle Comfort Dial; never

use any other part of the inversion table as a step (Figure 5) .

• Press your ankles back firmly against the rear ankle cups.
• Rotate the top of the rear cups inward toward your ankles to increase comfort while

inverting.

• Pull the handle of the Ankle System toward your legs and release when the fit is snug.

Test the closure by jiggling the handle from front to back to make sure the foot clamps

are locked securely (Figure 6). Make sure your pant legs do not interfere with obtaining
a secure closure.

• Use the concept of

HEAR - FEEL - SEE

every time you secure your ankles:

HEAR

the

Ankle System click into place;

FEEL

the Ankle System to make sure it is fully engaged

in its setting;

SEE

that the Ankle System is secure, and does not move out of position.

Safety Lock

• The Safety Lock allows the table to be deactivated without the need to unplug the

power supply.

• Insert the Safety Key and turn clockwise to disable the lock and engage the motor.

The Safety Key will remain in place when the table is in-use (Figure 7).

• Upon completion of your inversion session, turn the Safety Key counterclockwise,

remove from the Motor Housing and store in a secure place for future use.

Inverting

• In the event of a power outage during use, you may have to use a hand crank to

rotate the table upright. (See “Emergency Power Outage Directions” on page 1.4).
Practice manual cranking to an upright position with a spotter until you are comfortable
with the procedure. Users who are not able to successfully hand crank to an upright
positions should

NEVER

use the unit without a spotter.

• Ensure there is clearance for the table to rotate without contacting other objects or

people.

• TO INVERT, push the rotation control button in the direction of your head (Figure 8).

WARNING

!

For your first few inversion sessions, ask a spotter to assist you until

you are comfortable with the operation of the inversion table.
