Back Up Breathing
When you turn on your EverGo device, it will sense if you are breathing
from it. If you are not yet breathing through the cannula, EverGo will
begin to pulse automatically about once every five seconds. The only
purpose of this “back up breathing” is to help the unit warm up faster. As
soon as you begin breathing through the cannula, the device will begin
delivering pulses based on your breathing. Back up breathing occurs only
when the EverGo unit has not detected a breath for 30 seconds. You may
begin breathing from the EverGo at any time.
