The reference plane for the measuring range (version A) is the lower
edge of the flange. The reference plane for versions B, C and D is the
lower edge of the transducer.
Remember that with all versions there is a minimum distance below
the reference plane - the so-called dead band - in which measurement
is not possible; this distance from reference plane to medium must not
be underrun. The exact value of the dead band is stated in chapter
"
Technical data".
Information:
If the medium reaches the transducer, buildup can form on it and
cause faulty measurements later on.
