PLICSRADIO T62 • Wireless emitting unit (multiple channel)

32624-EN-130228

PLICSRADIO T62 offers connection options for max. three continu-

ous sensors and two switching instruments.
Individual instruments with switching output can be used. The output

can be a relay, NAMUR or transistor output (Open Collector)

Up to three HART sensors in multidrop mode can be connected to the

HART input (terminals 3/4) (input 1 … 3 corresponds to HART addr.

1 … 3). If in addition the 4 … 20 mA input (terminals 1/2) is used, only

two sensors can be operated on the HART input (HART addr. 1 … 2).

If HART addr. 3 is used and a current is detected on the 4 … 20 mA

input, a failure message is triggered.
Information:

Two-wire or four-wire instruments can be connected. In the menu you

can switch over between active (standard setting) and passive opera-

tion of the measuring data input. The connection assignment is the

same for both modes.

In active mode, PLICSRADIO T62 provides the voltage supply for

the connected sensors. This mode is for connection of pressure

transmitters without separate operating voltage (sensors in two-

wire version).

In the passive mode, the sensors are not powered - only the meas-

ured value is transmitted. This input is for sensors with their own,

separate operating voltage (sensors in four-wire version). On a

PLICSRADIO T62 in Ex version, the passive input is not available

for approval/technical reasons.
