This operating instructions manual applies to the following instrument

versions:

Hardware from 2.1.0

Software from 4.5.1

The instrument is available in two different sensor electronics ver-

sions. The selection depends on the application area, see chapter

"Principle of operation".
The respective version can be determined via the product code on

the type label as well as on the electronics.

Standard electronics type PS60HK.-

Electronics with increased sensitivity type PS60HS.-

3.2 Principle of operation

The instrument is suitable for applications with liquids in storage tanks

and process vessels under difficult process conditions. Application

possibilities can be found in the chemical industry, in environmental

and recycling technology as well as in the petrochemical industry.
The version with standpipe antenna is particularly suitable for

measurement of solvents and liquid gases, for vessels with foam

generation or for measurement of products with low dielectric values

(DK > 1.6).
