NOTE: If a PDA has been previously

installed in your vehicle, make sure that

all the latest updates and SpeedBrake

Software are installed and it is fully

charged. Please see Section 3 to update

software.
If you have purchased a combination

SpeedBrake/ Tuner Package, install the

Tuner first and ignore the installation

of the OBD-II interface cable. After

completing installation of the Tuner

continue with this manual.

1.

Disconnect the negative (ground)

cable from the battery (or batteries, if

there are two) before beginning work.

Secure the cables so that they do not

come in contact with the battery posts

during the installation.

Remove the bottom steering

column panel by pulling out to release

the retaining clip. See Figure 2.

Disconnect Banks OBD II interface

cable from the vehicle OBD II

connector.

For vehicles with PDA’s

installed only, disconnect the

RJ12 connector from the PDA mount

and pull the wire away from the

dash. Refer to Six-Gun Installation

Manual.

For vehicles with Banks iQ

installed only, disconnect the

RJ12 connector from the Banks iQ

Bridge Module.

For vehicles with Six-Gun

selector switch installed only,

disconnect the 2-pin six-gun switch

connector from the 2-pin connector

on the six-gun in-cab cable. Remove

the six-gun switch from the vehicle

and plug the holes with the supplied

plugs. Refer to Six-Gun Installation

Manual.
