Manual Conventions
In this manual, display messages and connectors are shown using the exact
name shown on the 9084 itself. Examples are provided below.
• Card-edge display messages are shown like this:
• Connector names are shown like this: SDI IN
In this manual, the terms below are applicable as follows:
• 9084 refers to the 9084 HD/SD-SDI RGB Color Corrector with
YCbCr Video Proc and Frame Sync card.
• Frame refers to the 8321 (or similar) frame that houses the Cobalt ®
COMPASS ® cards.
• Device and/or Card refers to a COMPASS ® card.
• System and/or Video System refers to the mix of interconnected
production and terminal equipment in which the 9064 and other
COMPASS
® cards operate.
Warnings, Cautions, and Notes

definitions are provided below.
Warnings
