Attach the trip unit mounting plate to the support bracket, as
shown in Figure 16.

The two larger screws at the top attach to tapped holes in
the support bracket.

Pull out the locking lever, as shown, then insert the small
screw through the hole.

c.

Secure the small screw with the flat washer, lock washer,
and nut.

Attach the support bracket and mounting plate to the
breaker frame, as shown in Figure 17. The two bolts use
existing holes in the breaker frame and attach to tapped
holes in the bracket.

8.

Pass the current sensor and flux shifter leads through the
hole on the lower left side (from the rear) of the breaker, as
shown in Figure 17.

9.

If the trip unit will be connected to a communication network,
pass the connector through the rear-frame hole with the CT
leads. Otherwise, tie it to some convenient point on the
breaker frame with wire ties.

10.

If a neutral sensor is to be used in the equipment, pass the
corresponding connector through the rear-frame hole with
the CT leads. Otherwise, tie it to some convenient point on
the breaker frame with wire ties (with the communication
connector, if also unused).
