Section 10 – Troubleshooting

Trouble

Cause

Remedy

If the switch is overheated because of excess current,
one of two remedies can be adopted:

Overload

Replace with a switch of rating adequate for
the present or future loads, or:
Rearrange circuits to remove excess load.

Poor Contact
