Change tines from bracket

When one or two pieces of the tines are broken, it is only necessary to change the
broken tine and not the complete set. To change the tine, loosen the screws from
one side while holding the lock nuts on the other side, ensuring the cultivator is
switched off and the cord is unplugged before starting the process.

Checking transmission lubricant (Fig. 7)

Drain screw plug (1) is located on the right side of transmission housing.

Lay the tiller on its left side
and clean the transmission
to prevent dirt and debris
before removing the drain
screw.

Use a hex key 5mm to
unscrew the plug and empty
the oil from the transmission
housing.

Fill the transmission housing
up by using a grease gun
with a high-quality,
automotive-grade transmission lubricant until it begins to seep out around the
edge of the hole of the nozzle. If necessary disassemble the tines and re-install the
drain screw plug

.

Storage

The appliance should be stored in a dry and clean room out of the reach of
children. During extended periods of storage for example winter, ensure that the
appliance is protected against corrosion and frost.

At the end of the season or if the appliance is not to be used for longer than a
month:

Clean the appliance.

Wipe over all metal surfaces with a cloth that has been dampened with oil
to protect it from corrosion (non-resinous oil) or spray a fine coat of oil onto
the metal surfaces.

Fold the guide bar down, and store it in a suitable place.
