Before starting the application ,make sure tines are not touching foreign
objects and must be completely free to move.

Grip the guide bar firmly with both hands. Never operate the appliance with
one hand.

Be aware that the appliance may unexpectedly bounce upwards or jump
forwards if the tines should strike extremely hard, packed soil, frozen ground
or buried obstacles such as large stones, roots or stumps.

Do not put your hands, feet or any body part or clothing in the vicinity of
rotating tines. Caution! Risk of injury!

Only guide the appliance at walking pace. Do not over reach. Maintain
correct footing and balance at all times.

If the appliance strikes a foreign body switch off the appliance and examine
the appliance for signs of damage and carry out any necessary repairs before
restarting and continuing work.

If the appliance should start to vibrate abnormally, switch off the motor and
check for the cause immediately. Vibration is generally an indication of
problems with the appliance.

To move the appliance from one place to another, please hold it by the guide
bar.

Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the plug and wait until the
appliance stops before carrying out maintenance or cleaning work. Caution!
Tines do not stop immediately after switching the appliance off.

Use caution when cleaning or performing maintenance on the appliance.
DANGER! Watch your fingers! Wear gloves!

It is forbidden to move or modify any of the electrical and mechanical safety
devices.
