Initiating a call using the active call
context-sensitive soft key menu
You can initiate a call using the active call context-sensitive soft key
menu.
To initiate a call using the active call context-sensitive soft key
menu:
Call Waiting
While you are on an active call and you receive an incoming call. You are
notified of an incoming call by a message on the LCD screen and a
notifying beep. Answering the new call places the active call on hold you

1. Choose one of the following:
— Press the Conf context-sensitive
soft key while on a call.
— While on a call, press the More…
context-sensitive soft key, and then
the
NewCall context-sensitive soft
key.
The IP Deskphone produces a dial tone.

2. Choose one of the following:
— Use the dial pad to dial the number
or SIP address.
Note: This places the current call on
hold, if it is not already on hold, and you
can continue to initiate the call as
normally.
— Press the Back context-sensitive
soft key to return to the in-call
screen.
