3.5.4 Backup the System setting info into
an SD card.
The DVR offers a quick setup method by
using the SD card. If a user wants to set
many DVR devices with the same settings,
the DVR could save the whole setting in the
SD card, then transfer it to another DVR.
3.5.4.1 Save the whole setting into the SD
card:
1. Insert an SD card into the SD card slot.
2. Press the Setup button 9 to enter the
setup mode.
3. Highlight SYSTEM and press the Enter
button 15 to enter the SYSTEM SETTING
page.
4. Set SD SETUP to SAVE. Then the system
setting info will auto save into SD card.
3.5.4.2 Transfer the system setting info of
DVR to another:
1. Insert the SD card which has stored the
system setting info into the DVR.
2. Press the Setup button 9 to enter the
setup mode and select the SYSTEM.
3. Highlight SYSTEM and press the Enter button
15 to enter the SYSTEM SETTING page.
4. Then set SD SETUP to LOAD.
3.5.5 Updating System Software
Please refer to section 2.4 for more details.
3.6 Key Lock Operation
The Key Lock operation protects the unit
against unauthorized use by disabling the
entire front panel controls. Please press the
Enter button (as shown below) for at least
3 seconds to lock the unit; to release the Key
Lock, press this button again.
