6. PCLTA Initialization and Testing
PCLTA initialization and testing is accomplished by using “LonWorks Plug ‘n
Play” utility. Open this utility using the following steps:
a. From the Windows “Start” Menu, select “Settings”, then “Control Panel”.
The control panel will be displayed similar to the following.
Double-click on the “LonWorks Plug ‘n Play” icon to open this utility.
Note:
The LonWorks Plug & Play programs vary slightly depending upon what operating system you are
using. The screens you see may vary slightly from what are shown in this manual. As a rule,
follow the instructions on the screen and use the defaults unless otherwise directed in this manual.
The following “ LonWorks Plug ‘n Play” window will be displayed.
In the NI Application drop-down list, choose an image that is compatible
with MCNRCD. (For all operating systems, the Image name should end
with “L7”.) Then initialize the PCLTA by clicking the “Apply” button.
