PCLTA Device Driver Removal Procedure
8.1 Windows
95/98
To remove the PCLTA Device Driver, use the Uninstall control panel as follows:
a.
Choose the Add/Remove Programs icon from the Control Panel folder.
b.
Select “LonWorks PCLTA” from the list under the Install/Uninstall tab.
c.
Click the “Add/Remove” button.
d.
Confirm file deletion at the prompt. Most of the PCLTA software will be
removed automatically.
e.
If necessary, edit the CONFIG.SYS file to remove any reference to the
stub driver.
8.2 Windows
XP/NT/2000
To remove the PCLTA Device Driver, use the Uninstall control panel as follows:
a.

Select “LonWorks PCLTA” from the list under the Install/Uninstall tab.
c.
Click the “Add/Remove” button.
d.
Confirm file deletion at the prompt. Most of the PCLTA software will be
removed automatically.
e.
If necessary, edit the CONFIG.NT file to remove any reference to the
PCLTASDOS.SYS driver.
