Caution: Hazard of Electrical Shock


Symptoms:

1. Burner attempts to fire.
2. Poor flame.
3. No flame established.
4. No or low fuel output (refer to Sec. 17, 17.1).
5. Air in the oil, this can be seen when you bleed pump.
6. Oil Primary locked out.
Note:

Disable air operated fuel valve. Adjust burner air filter regulator to -0- psi.


Is the fuel level in the supply

Is there water or anti freeze

Yes

Drain water/anti freeze from supply tank,

in the fuel?

suction strainer, purge pump and lines.

No


Remove fuel pump/motor shield,
is the pump shaft turning correctly?

No

Is pump/motor coupling stripped?

Facing the shaft end counter clockwise.

No

Yes


Replace pump coupling.

Is

pump/motor

shaft turning?

Facing

the

shaft

end counter clockwise.

Is

there

voltage

to

pump

motor (115V)?

Replace fuel pump.
