SESDiskFailureAlarm

SC 5500, SC 5700
Activates an audible alarm when the appliance determines that
a RAID member disk drive has failed. The enclosure which
contains the failed disk drive creates the sound, other
enclosures are unaffected.

Default: disabled

set SESDiskFailureAlarm [enabled | disabled]

List SES-enabled enclosures which have been discovered by
the appliance.

SESIdentify

SC 5500, SC 5700
Tells the appropriate SES enclosure to identify the specified
element(s). ALL identifies all disks. RAID GroupName identifies
all disks in a RAID Group. If the MemberIndex is also specified,
only that disk is identified. ENC and enclosure index identifies
all slots in the specified enclosure. DRIVE BlockDevID identifies
the specified disk.

Note

The SESEnclosures command must be
executed before executing the SESIdentify
ENC or SESIdentify ALL command.

SESIdentifyStop

Tells the appropriate SES enclosure(s) to stop identifying the
specified element(s). If the MemberIndex is specified, only that
disk is identified. DRIVE and BlockDevID identify the specified
disk.

SESMute

SC 5500, SC 5700
Causes the audible alarms for all known enclosures to be muted
or to use the remind state. The remind state causes an
occasional audible reminder, if supported by the hardware, of
the alarm condition.

Note

The command SESEnclosures must be
executed before executing SESMute.

Default: Mute
SESMute <EnclosureIndex> <remind>

SESPoll

SC 5500, SC 5700
Specifies the SES enclosure polling interval in seconds. At the
specified interval, all known SES enclosures are polled for their
current status. A setting of 0 disables SES enclosure polling.

Default: 60

SESStartingSlot

SC 5500, SC 5700
Establishes the starting slot/ID number for all attached SES
enclosures.

Default: 1

SESStatus

SC 5500, SC 5700
Displays the last polled status of the specified element type in
the specified enclosure. Supported SES features include: fan,
power, temperature, alarm and drive LEDs. If no element type
is specified, the status of each is displayed.

Note

The command SESEnclosures must be
executed before executing SESStatus.

SNTP

Controls whether an SNTP time server sets the date and time.

Default: enabled
