On leaving the factory, your seca device has an accuracy of ± 0.15 % or
better. To preserve this level of accuracy, the product must be set up
with care and maintained on a regular basis.
The device’s measurement technology for bioelectric impedance
analysis (BIA) must be checked every two years. We recommend
performing maintenance of the whole device as part of this check.

Incorrect measurements may be taken as the result of
improper maintenance
