Hiding Hints and Tips
Hints and tips are normally shown when you choose FUNC. (
) or
) items. If you prefer, you can deactivate this information.

Choose [Hints & Tips], and then choose
[Off].
Screen Brightness
Adjust screen brightness as follows.

Choose [LCD Brightness], and then
press the <
q><r> buttons to adjust the
brightness.
Increasing Screen Brightness
Screen brightness can be increased to a level even brighter than the
highest level in [LCD Brightness].

z
Choose [Sunlight LCD], and then choose
[On].
•
Activating [Sunlight LCD] mode overrides the [LCD Brightness] setting.
•
You can also access [Sunlight LCD] mode by holding the <
p> button for at
least one second when the shooting screen is displayed or when in single-
image display. To restore the original brightness, press and hold the <
p>
button again for at least one second.
