Configure Ethernet Events

An Ethernet event occurs when the Ethernet link between the HAFM server and
the managed product is dropped. You can configure Ethernet events for all
managed products and set a specific time interval for an event to be generated
after the communication drops.

1. Choose Maintenance > Configure Ethernet Events.

The Configure Ethernet Events dialog box displays (

Figure 40

).

Ethernet timeout field. The value must be between 10 and 120.

4. Click OK to accept and activate the data.

If e-mail notification is also enabled, an e-mail will be sent if the HAFM cannot
communicate with a product.

If call-home notification is also enabled, a call-home notification will be
generated if the HAFM cannot communicate with a product.
