the synchronization rate is 100 percent if the contents of the secondary data volume is
the same before and after the volume pair was split.

CAUTION:

If a failure in the initial copy operation causes the volume pair to be split,

this column displays nothing. If a failure occurs in the initial copy operation, the Pairdisplay
pane displays Initial copy failed.

In the following cases, this column is blank:

When the volume in the local array is not a primary or secondary data volume.

When the status of the volume pair is HOLD or HLDE.

P-VOL: Primary data volume.

The first line displays the primary data volume's port number, G-ID, and LUN. The G-ID is the
group number of a host group or iSCSI target. If the primary data volume exists in the local
array, the first line also displays the CLPR number and name.

The second line displays the device emulation type.

The third line displays the volume capacity.

NOTE:

If a logical volume is an external LU, # appears after the LDEV number. For more

information about external LUs, see the HP StorageWorks External Storage XP user guide.

If there is no primary data volume in the local subsystem, the port ID, G-ID, and LUN of the
volume that you specified in the remote subsystem when creating the pair will be displayed.
If you change or delete the port ID, G-ID, or LUN of the volume in the remote subsystem,
incorrect information will be displayed. So, unless you have any special circumstances, do
not change or delete the port ID, G-ID, or LUN that you specified when creating the pair.

S-VOL: Secondary data volume.

The first line displays the secondary volume's port number, G-ID, and LUN. The G-ID is the
group number of a host group or iSCSI target. If the secondary data volume exists in the local
array, the first line also displays the CLPR number and name.

The second line displays the device emulation type.

The third line displays the volume capacity.

NOTE:

If a logical volume is an external LU, # appears after the LDEV number. For more

information about external LUs, see the HP StorageWorks External Storage XP user guide.

If there is no secondary data volume in the local subsystem, the port ID, G-ID, and LUN of the
volume that you specified in the remote subsystem when creating the pair will be displayed.
If you change or delete the port ID, G-ID, or LUN of the volume in the remote subsystem,
incorrect information will be displayed. So, unless you have any special circumstances, do
not change or delete the port ID, G-ID, or LUN that you specified when creating the pair.

CLPR: CLPR number and name of the logical volume in the local array.

M-JNL Group: Master journal group.

R-JNL Group: Restore journal group.

Mirror ID: Mirror ID.

CT Group: Consistency group number.

DKC S/N (CTRL ID): Secondary array's serial number and controller ID. The controller ID is
enclosed by parentheses.

Path Type: Channel type of the path interface between the arrays (fibre, serial).
